Since 2006, when he moved back to Middle Tennessee, he has been involved in the Rutherford County community, beginning with the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce and then moving on to city government. |

“What brought us here is my great-great granddaddy was a Union Soldier who fought and was injured in the Civil War at Stones River Battlefield,” explained Denise Carter. “We came here to tour the battlefield and Murfreesboro. After the tour, we ended up finding Alley on Main on the square. While eating dinner, we were looking at houses on Zillow for fun. |

County Continuum of Care, also known as Rutherford Thrives, has been awarded $707,489 from the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). HUD announced $3.6 billion in funding through a competitive process to distribute appropriated funds to Continuum of Care grant recipients. These grants are intended to support projects promoting a community-wide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness. |
