Friends and supporters of the Discovery Center eagerly anticipate the annual Wine & Whiskey at the Wetlands event. This occasion offers an opportunity to connect with friends while sampling an extensive selection of wines, fine whiskies and spirits provided by Stones River Total Beverages. VIP ticket holders and sponsors enjoy early access, initiating the evening with a VIP party that features premium wines and spirits paired with gourmet bites. Subsequently, they join other attendees to explore the dynamic exhibits while continuing to sample food and beverages. The Discovery Center offers hands-on educational opportunities. It serves as a vibrant hub for both locals and tourists, attracting over 130,000 children and families each year. Funds raised from events like Wine & Whiskey at the Wetlands enable the Discovery Center to enhance and expand its exhibits and services, thereby fostering the intellectual growth of children.
