Tim Dutton

After three decades in Middle Tennessee’s Real Estate and Construction industry, President and General Contractor Tim Dutton founded Heritage Custom Homes, Inc. to help home buyers make their dream homes an attainable reality.

Success in selling homes to clients with a vast range of budgets and lifestyles gives Tim a unique respect for the buyer and fuels his desire to provide the quality selections, construction methods, and solutions that will benefit them for years to come. Whether building, remodeling, buying or selling, Tim knows TRUST is key to establishing a successful relationship with his clients.

Trust is essential to all aspects of the Heritage Custom Homes experience. From trust in the time-forged relationships with craftsmen, suppliers, and manufacturers on his projects, to earning the trust of his buyers, Tim has worked hard to build a name you can respect.

A lifelong resident of Middle Tennessee, Tim has built a name of integrity from learning the ropes on odd building jobs while attending Riverdale High School and Middle Tennessee State University, eventually moving on to construction sales, running a popular community market, then establishing a successful presence in the area’s real estate market. Tim’s clients benefit greatly from his daily involvement in construction and remodeling projects. Projects are overseen by Tim, personally, which allows for accountability of subcontractors and any team members associated with Heritage.

This unique aspect of his commitment also encourages expressed and reliable communication between builder and buyer.

Tim is most at home with his family on his breathtaking hill view farm just outside of Murfreesboro in the quaint community of Auburntown, Tennessee. Whether he’s working his cattle, riding the ridge of his hills in his Ranger, enjoying beautiful sunsets, or lounging in his easy chair, Tim is a Tennessee country boy at heart. Perhaps his deep southern roots is the foundation that has landed him the reputation of being one of Rutherford Counties top real estate agents and builder. At the end of the day Tim finds his greatest reward tending to his land and spending quality time with his daughter Mary Claire, as well as his two dogs Shye and Keelie.
