Wine Around the Square

Story and Photography by Joyce Taylor

Foundation Director Gina DeJean, with her staff and many volunteers, selected a beautiful evening for this 13th annual event. Sponsors gathered at Whiskey Dix for the pre-party, enjoying appetizers and drinks. Adrienne and Dr. Nick Tarola were the honorees, celebrated for their donations and the many confidence-booster surgeries Dr. Tarola has performed on breast cancer survivors.

Following the VIP party, sponsors joined other guests in strolling around the square and visiting many local businesses who were hosting various vendors. The Alley on Main and The Clay Pit provided a delicious dinner, and The Alley hosted a late party. The Patels, owners of Stones River Total Beverages, made possible this popular party, providing a vast array of wines and spirits.

Proceeds from this event benefit The Power of Pink. POP provides awareness, education and diagnostic services for many women in our community.
