On a warm October evening, a capacity crowd gathered at Copper Ridge for the 10th annual Firefly Supper. Following drinks, appetizers and perusing fabulous auction items, supporters enjoyed a buffet dinner and an assortment of wonderful desserts. Several who have been instrumental in the success of Doors were celebrated, including Maridel Williams, founder of Doors of Hope, and Dr. Beth Wright. There were several “stories of hope,” video testimonials by a few clients whose lives have been changed because of Doors.

The mission of Doors of Hope is to empower women to break the cycle of addiction, homelessness and incarceration. Ray Singer concluded the program with a “doorknob” game and asked guests to “join the story,” by donating to assist more women in their recovery.
