Middle Tennessee Christian School Welcomes Katie Frazier as New Director of Fine Arts

Middle Tennessee Christian School is proud to announce the appointment of Katie Frazier as the new Director of Fine Arts. This newly created position aims to unify, enhance, and promote the amazing work already ongoing in this area. MTCS is excited to add this layer of leadership to its administration team to ensure that the fine arts program continues to grow both within the school and across the fine arts community in Middle Tennessee—leaving a lasting impact on these talented students and advancing the kingdom through their unique gifting from the Lord.
A native of Decatur, AL, Katie Frazier holds a Master of Arts in Music Education from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Harding University. With nine years of experience teaching general music and band full-time, followed by work as a freelance musician since 2015, she is well-prepared to lead the department into a new chapter of growth and creativity.

Katie has also been deeply involved in worship ministry at North Boulevard Church of Christ and has taught and trained participants for Bible Study Fellowship, bringing a strong foundation of faith, leadership, and service to her work. She and her husband are raising their daughter Daisy, a first-grader at MTCS, and they are active members of the MTCS community.

Katie shared her excitement about joining the MTCS Fine Arts program, stating: "The Creative Arts have played a major role in shaping me into the person I am today, so I am thrilled to have this opportunity to help ensure the same is possible for students in our MTCS community. Our desire is for God to guide and be glorified during this time of growth, and for every person involved in MTCS Fine Arts to be drawn closer to Him through a variety of creative endeavors. Join us!"

The purpose of the MTCS Fine Arts program is to provide technical and spiritual training that enables students to express beauty and truth as co-creators with their Maker for His glory. MTCS President Matt Tiller states, “We are excited to welcome Katie to the team and look forward to the positive impact she will make as the new Director of Fine Arts. This is an extremely important part of our campus experience as we seek to reflect and display the creative nature of our Father. We are blessed to have Katie here to lead these efforts.”
