Bradley Academy and Murfreesboro City Schools invites the community to A Taste of Latin America on Saturday, October 26 at Patterson Park from 10 am until 2 pm. This free event offers students and families the opportunity to experience Latin American food, music, student art, dances, and activities.
The Murfreesboro Symphony Orchestra will showcase a variety of music from Latin America beginning at 11 a.m.
Timeline for the day includes:
10:00 - 11:00 Family activities for children & STEM exhibit including face painting, arts & crafts
10:30 - 10:45 Bradley Bobcat Singers
11:00 - 12:00 Murfreesboro Symphony Orchestra
12:15 - 12:45 Dance group Cielito Lindo (Ballet Folklórico)
12:00 - 1:30 Food tasting
12:00 - 2:00 Family activities and STEM Exhibit
12:00 - 2:00 Students monologue of four famous Latino American characters
